Dr. Siegfried Ruhland was awarded the title of “National Distinguished Experts” and was officially selected to the list of the 6th “Thousand Talents Plan” organized by the State Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs of China.
China initiated “the Recruitment Program of Global Experts”, known as the “Thousand Talents Plan”, since the end of 2008. The plan called for strategic scientists or leading talents who can make breakthroughs in key technologies or can enhance China’s high-tech industries and emerging disciplines.
Dr. Ruhland was granted with this great honor for his top technical competence as well as his significant contribution to economic and technological development of China.
