In March the world slowed down and focused on fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Most industries and enterprises were forced to stop, with 80% of energy projects being delayed for an indefinite period.
TGOOD Global’s manufacturing partners resumed their production capabilities to ensure that the TGOOD Global projects would be delivered as early as possible. This included:
- Multiple 33kV prefabricated substations for TGOOD Africa in Zimbabwe
- Singapore’s 69kV high-voltage substation for a critical LNG operation
- Solar collector substations for TGOOD South East Asia
- 132kV substations for utility customers of TGOOD Australia’s
- Multiple 110kV and solar projects in Russia and Central Asia
- 132/11kV substation for Australian mining company
- 300 x primary GIS 40.5kV for TGOOD Africa in DRC
These projects demonstrate TGOOD Global’s key benefits of prefabrication and modularity. A critical part of reducing site work is continuing factory operations to manufacture, assemble and test before leaving the factory.
Our business model enables TGOOD Global to help customers around the world to complete construction projects as soon as possible, even during the global crisis of COVID-19.
In the epidemic period, TGOOD Global prefabricated substation solutions helped to keep onsite work to a minimum and reduced the risk of project delays due to uncertain site conditions and restrictions.
