After almost four months of smooth progression in the design, engineering and manufacturing phases, the Indonesia mining project successfully shipped on 4 August 2017. TGOOD’s ehouse and big compensator system (2 filter banks and 9 big reactor coils, designed by Chris Struthers/StruthersTech, Canada) was just fired up and energised in 11 stages.
It’s also the first time we have deployed the new three-phase four-wire system designed by TGOOD in this project. Apart from the renovation of the system, the ehouse was a customised design with all cables sitting on the top. The cables were assembled and brought out of the ehouse through the cable connection box.
After completing the installation, the customers gave their instant feedback: ‘The client has just disconnected his diesel generators and powered his site trouble-free off the grid for the first time in 6 years!’ TGOOD South East Asia achieved this with a solution that costs a fraction of a competing offer, and was of course up and running at a fraction of their time!
This positive customer feedback is one more demonstration of the satisfaction TGOOD Global solutions and systems provide. Pre-commissioning the power equipment in the TGOOD factory ensured the quality of the products, rapid delivery time and significantly reduced the duration of the total project. Our modular ehouse concept dramatically shortened onsite construction time. TGOOD Global, as a global leader in prefabricated substations, brings customers added value with customised solutions and systems beyond their expectations.
