TGOOD Africa recently completed manufacturing and testing of this common tank 5-way RMU with CCFVV configuration for our prominent customer in the Western Cape. Our TGS range of ring main units are easy to customise and easy to operate. As with all our TGS gear it’s rated @ 20kA/ 3 seconds or 25kA/ 1 second, up to 24kV @ 630A, internal arc 20kA / 1 second A or A-B FLR, and duty classification E2 & M2.

This product has been fully type tested with multiple different standards and venting methods, making it perfect for any application, from bulk metering units to auto reclosure or synchronisations. It meets multiple applications and standards, whether it’s NRS 099, SANS 1029, SANS 1874 or 1885, SANS 62271-200 or 202 or 212, and many other international standards like IEC, IEEE, AS or GB. TGS-24 is suitable for any OHSA 85 or mines Act 29 application.

This is another improved solution by TGOOD looking after customer-specific needs. The auto reclose function is made possible by TGOOD’s TGS mechanisms that can be double charged electrically or mechanically as stored energy, ready to operate immediately by remote signal.
